Kaori Torigai leaving position for new opportunities.

It is with gratitude and best wishes that Nakai theatre announces that Kaori Torigai will be leaving her position as General Manager at Nakai Theatre to take a position with Yukon Government.

During her time at Nakai, Kaori brought energy, smarts and an infectious laugh to the work and company. She not only led the company administratively, but spearheaded projects including Stranger Connections and acted as a strong voice for the arts and theatre in the community. While she will no longer be staff with Nakai, we all hope to work together in the future in new and exciting ways.

Nakai is launching a territorial and national search for a new Managing Producer to start in July 2018. Torigai will continue working with company on a part time basis until a new staff member is in place.
