Want to sing with us this year?

Get out of the house this holiday season with a different kind of caroling!

The 3Penny Choir is an out-of-season holiday pop-up choir, directed by Scott Maynard and with Annie Avery on piano. We sing songs from the Threepenny Opera -- the classic musical by Kurt Weill with lyrics by Bertolt Brecht, full of delightful songs about deplorable people.

Bring your friends and accomplices, and channel your holiday angst through the joy of singing together!

Some renditions:

Mack the Knife as sung by Ella Fitzgerald
Pirate Jenny as sung by Nina Simone
What Keeps Mankind Alive as sung by Tom Waits
