Support Nakai and the Victoria Faulkner Women's Centre

Most Pivot events this year have been free.

Happening on ponds, in cars, and at your home – in a hard year – we decided to make it as easy as possible to bring some delight into your January.

Nakai has made it through this year, resilient and adaptable, in large part thanks to stable operating funding, available project support, and strong local partners and collaborators.

That doesn’t mean we don’t need your support. Grants are important, but are earmarked, and often leave out vital expenses.

Individual donations support what we do and the communities we work with. From five bucks to five hundred, your gifts lift our spirits and make our work possible.

That said, it’s a weird year to ask for money for art.

Since the pandemic started, the gaps in our society are even clearer. And we believe the arts have a role in inspiring and leading change. We also know that there are urgent needs like housing and safety that we can’t provide.

With that in mind, half of all donations received by Nakai for Pivot will be donated forward to the Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre, to help them provide their urgent and important services. Read more about them below.

Thanks to you all for all that you give.
