Hiring! Local Producer for the Pivot Festival (January 19-30)
The 2021 Pivot Festival is going to be different. A mix of in-person and online, outside and inside, on-fire and not on-fire.
We’re looking for an organized and outgoing person to join the Nakai team from November through February. You’ll be working with Zach McCann-Armitage and Jacob Zimmer along with local artists, partners, venues and folks from away over the internet.
Comfort with computers, internet, phone calls, driving in the winter and theatre production are all assets.

Schedule and rate: $2500 contract for estimated 100 hours. Adaptable.
Festival dates: January 11-30, 2021

Staff changes
We’re delighted to announce Zach McCann-Armitage as interim Managing Producer of Nakai. Zach has been working with Nakai for almost two years as an Associate Producer and Office Manager as well as producing the 2020 Pivot Festival (pictured above.)
Jenna is heading back to Ontario for an undetermined amount of time to see family, deal with a storage unit and other good life things. She will continue to work with Nakai as a Consulting Associate.
