$40 for 40

Nakai is 40!

That’s 40 years of creating theatre in Whitehorse and across the Yukon.

We’re asking for donations of $40 this season (or more, if you prefer) to celebrate our past and support what’s to come.

With your help, we contribute to a thriving territory with the power of creativity, and provide fun events, workshops and nights-out through the year.

We know that Yukoners pitch in to help out when needed – nobody gets by alone up here. Nakai has been blessed with volunteers and in-kind support from so many people and businesses in the territory, to whom we are very grateful.

But sometimes the help we need is cash – to pay artists, to pay local contractors, and to keep our ticket prices low.

So on our 40th birthday, we ask you to be a part of our future.

Our goal: $4000. We can only reach it together.

We are excited about where Nakai is headed, and hope you’ll be part of it.

To donate, go to Canada Helps (click here), send an etransfer to gm@nakaitheatre.com or mail a cheque to our address - we can take cash at the office too. Tax receipts will be issued.

$40 for season 40 - here we go! Thank you for helping us keep looking forward.
