Peter Jickling
Peter Jickling is a Whitehorse-based writer., His play, Syphilis: A Love Story, was produced in 2011 by Ramshackle Theatre at The Guild Hall, in Whitehorse. It subsequently toured western Canada, winning Best Comedy at the 2013 Victoria Fringe Festival. His debut poetry collection, Downtown Flirt, was published by Guernica Editions in 2019. He is working on a screenplay, a novel, and a second poetry collection. He teaches English at Yukon University.
Adri Lera
Adri Lera was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska she currently lives in Mount Lorne. She attends Yukon University and is of Tlingit, Unangax, and Swedish heritage. She recently won the Active Voice Contest and has been published in CBC North. She is a multimedia artist who works in poetry, short fiction and non-fiction, beading, drawing, painting, and anything else she can get her hands on.
Jeffrey Mackie
Jeffrey Mackie is an internationally published and translated poet living in Dawson City, Yukon located on the traditional territory of the Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin First Nation. His latest chapbook collection is called 'North of 60'
Brenna Symanski
Brenna has been calling the beautiful Yukon home for 15 years. She can be found with her dog, Blue, playing in the woods or doing art in bed. She’s loved poetry since she was a young girl, and is thrilled to be joining this year’s poetry crawl.
