Jacob shares approaches from improvisation and co-creation in theatre, dance and leadership development to open you up and expand your and ability to collaborate. Join Nakai Theatre’s artistic director Jacob Zimmer for a fun and invigorating weekend workshop.

Appropriate for folks 16+ from all backgrounds and experience levels.

Friday Evening – Beginning with Improv
Play energize our bodies, opens us to surprise and humour, games stretch our spontaneity and connect us to each other. 6:30-9:30pm, Friday September 7.

Saturday – Embodied play
Sometimes we get stuck in our heads. Experience how physicality and our senses can open new possibilities in storytelling, improvisation and living. 10:30-4:30, Saturday September 8.

Sunday – Creating through play
Playing together to create new games and shared stories. Collaborating and creation takes practice, and that practice can be fun. 10:30-4:30, Sunday September 9.

There will be physical activity and participation required. Adjustments to individual needs can be accommodated.
